EVAN
BATT

Evan is the Co-Owner of Lockwood Distilling Co. He forces his bad ideas on the team, slows down the kitchen, walks behind the bar to make himself a drink when we are busy, laughs at his own jokes, and turns the spotlight on the softball trophies. Evan has been in the alcohol business since graduating from Texas A&M University in ’03. He’s worked on the distribution side, supplier side, and manufacturing side of both global and local brands. After trying his hand in most sides of the industry, his favorite is growing brands and finding a connection between brands and consumers. While Evan loves to work, he enjoys playing guitar and goofing off with his two red-headed kids even more.

SALLY

Sally is the other Co-Owner of Lockwood Distilling Co. A former kindergarten teacher and real estate agent, Sally runs the company's social media platforms and merchandise purchasing. Due to lack of restaurant experience, Sally focuses her time bussing tables and harassing customers. She really enjoys running the community service efforts of the distillery, focusing on RISD schools and anything that benefits the well-being of families in the community.  Kids, live music, Lockwood customers, and spontaneous trips to New Orleans are her jam.

SEAN
SAUNDERS

Sean is the VP of Operations and oversees restaurant operations, strategic planning, and the company softball team.  It all started when Sean was voted “Most Flirty” in 8th grade, eventually graduating from Pearce High School, then UTD for Bachelors and Masters Degrees. Sean comes to us as a CPA with experience in For-Profit and Nonprofit organizations. When Sean isn’t working, you can find him hanging with his kids or pouring himself his favorite cocktail, a Mr. Sean.

CHAD
JULKA

Chad is the Chief Experience Officer aka General Manager at Lockwood Distilling Co. Prior to being the face of Lockwood, Chad was a director of a non-profit organization coordinating small to medium scale sustainable growers (vegetables, not drugs.)  He has a vast knowledge of food, local farmers, and wine and makes one heck of a Santa Claus. When he's not spilling things on his pants at the distillery, this RISD dad can be found hanging with his girls.

ADAM
VANDERKOLK

Adam oversees the day-to-day distillery operations from spirit production and processing to warehousing and compliance with state/federal regulations and reporting. Basically, he makes booze, bottles it, and pays taxes. Before joining the Lockwood team, this Pearce graduate was a touring musician and most recently, a stay-at-home dad to a baby girl. He says his boss was adorable, but also kind of a diva. To get much-needed adult interaction, Adam started working at Lockwood during naptime and it quickly escalated from there. When he isn’t running the distillery, you can find him hanging with the family, cycling, or cheering for the Dallas Stars.

DUSTY
WOOD

Dusty is the General Manager at Lockwood Distilling Co Magnolia, located in Fort Worth. Dusty has managed both a brewery and middle school students in his previous life. When he’s not wearing an incredibly busy shirt at the distillery, Dusty is most likely traveling. He’s been to 10 countries and has only been arrested in 2 (jk…we think…) He has also been widely known to ski in his jeans and score no less than 11th place in bowling tournaments. He’s thrilled to be back in the Near Southside neighborhood and enjoys having a good time with both co-workers and customers.
